Meet Melinda Reece
Somatic Practitioner, Ayurvedic Specialist, Therapist-in-Training & Founder of Sattva Wellness
My path into this work began through a deep reverence for the body’s wisdom and the understanding that healing is not linear — it is relational, embodied, and deeply personal.
For over a decade, I have been immersed in holistic healing, studying and practicing Ayurveda, bodywork, and integrative wellness. Through this work, I witnessed how profoundly the body holds our life experiences — stress, trauma, resilience, and the longing to return to balance.
This realization led me deeper into somatic healing, an approach that honors the nervous system, emotional landscape, and lived experience as essential pathways to transformation.
My work today is devoted to helping individuals reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and cultivate greater self-trust and compassion from within.
Sessions are intuitive, personalized, and grounded in meeting you exactly where you are — honoring your pace, your story, and your innate capacity to heal.
This is work that invites you home to yourself.
My Approach & Training
My approach is integrative by nature, bridging ancient healing traditions with modern psychological understanding through a somatic, body-centered lens.
I am trained as an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Somatic Coach, and Bodyworker, with advanced study in nervous system regulation, trauma-informed care, and embodied healing practices.
I am currently in clinical training as a Marriage & Family Therapist Trainee, deepening my work to include relational, trauma-informed psychotherapy grounded in somatic awareness and holistic integration.
